About Us
Jerry and Joyce Dente got their start in the food service business with a single location on
Pier 4 in Charlestown, MA in 1991 when the Tall Ships came to Boston. They established
dozens of subsequent locations in the Boston area including Faneuil hall, Copley Plaza,
Downtown Crossing, the Prudential Center, the State House, the Swan Boat Crossing on
the Mayors Walk, and the Boston Commons just to name a few. Some of their special
event venues include the New England Patriots in Foxboro, Seiji Ozawa with the Boston
Pops, the Boston Marathon, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Head Of The
Charles Regatta. They owned and operated a pizzeria in Framingham, MA for a number
of years. They have catered large and small indoor and outdoor events for many
companies such as Federal Realty Trust, Sullivan Properties, Mass General Hospital,
Brown Publishing, Millennium Maintenance Services, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and
Toll Brothers. They have also developed a few brands of their own like Boston Italian Ice,
Trolleydogs, Specialty Fries and Scrumptious Catering.
Jerry Dente, a Jeweler and Inventor uses his unique creativity to design and build the original
and distinctive look of all of the Dente Events equipment and signage. He believes in the
power of presentation and is a fanatic about cleanliness. He is a master at creating instant
and irresistible consumer interest and confidence.
Joyce Dente also has years of experience owning and operating a retail jewelery store and
taking on the rolls of Buyer and Business Development Expert. She has exceptional
Organizational and HR skills but best of all, Joyce is a Fabulous Cook! She is an Event
Coordinator and a Licensed Food Handler and has been Serve Safe Certified for over 15 years.
